DONALD TRUMP collaborated with CHINA'S "Silk Road"
US President Donald Trump told US State Councilor Yang Jiechi during a meeting in Washington that Washington was ready to work with Beijing on "Silk Road" initiatives - Bloomberg News. Led a statement issued by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Florida in April, Trump has diminished the tough Chinese claims he made during his campaign.
In May, the US President nominated Matt Pottinger, a senior official in charge of East Asia at the National Security Council, to attend the first forum on the "Road and Road" initiative, Silk Road, "organized by China in Beijing.
